What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a food production system that builds the relationship between the farmer and the community. At the beginning of the season, members buy a share of the produce that will be grown on the farm over the course of the season.
Buying in the beginning of the season assures that the farmer can pay for seeds and supplies and in exchange the members receive weekly boxes of local, fresh produce! The community shares in the successes and the risks of the farmer, supporting healthy and reliable local food systems.
